How AIRB uses and protects project information.

AIRB Drone Services is responsible for the personal information used to answer enquiries, arrange bookings, deliver projects and operate the AIRB client portal. Privacy questions and rights requests can be sent to hello@tomairbdrones.co.uk.

Depending on how you use AIRB, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, organisation, project address, preferred date, messages, quote and booking details, payment references, project notes, portal activity, uploaded or delivered media, and technical security or performance data.

Stripe handles card details directly. AIRB receives payment status, amount, customer and transaction references but does not receive your full card number.

We use information to respond to requests, provide quotes, take and reconcile payments, assess project feasibility, communicate dates, deliver work, provide portal access, handle support, prevent abuse, meet accounting or legal duties, and improve service reliability.

The relevant lawful basis will normally be taking steps at your request or performing a contract, complying with a legal obligation, or AIRB's legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service. Where consent is required, you may withdraw it at any time.

AIRB uses service providers including Stripe for payments, Cloudflare for portal hosting, security and storage, Vercel for website hosting, Resend for transactional email, Sanity for managed website content, and postcodes.io to translate a UK postcode or approximate map location into coordinates for coverage and travel estimates. They process information only for the services AIRB has configured, subject to their own contractual and legal safeguards.

Interactive maps request street-map tiles from OpenStreetMap or satellite tiles from Esri. These services receive your browser's IP address and the map area being viewed, and have their own privacy policies.

We do not sell personal information. We may share the minimum necessary information with professional advisers, authorities where legally required, or an agreed subcontractor involved in your project. We will tell you where a project requires a materially different use.

AIRB uses cookieless Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate traffic and performance. Optional Google Analytics, when connected and accepted in Privacy & analytics settings, measures page visits, engagement, returning browsers and enquiry steps. Optional Microsoft Clarity, when connected and accepted, provides masked interaction recordings and heatmaps on public marketing pages. We do not load these optional tools before you accept. Advertising storage and personalisation stay disabled. Form text is masked and recording is excluded from contact, planner, booking, enterprise and private pages. A returning browser is not proof of a returning person. Your consent choice expires after 180 days; you can reject or withdraw it using the settings link on each page. Owner/test browsers can also opt out there. Analytics configuration may change; the settings panel identifies the optional tools currently connected. When you confirm an in-range postcode, AIRB stores the postcode, coordinates, calculated distance and discount eligibility in a first-party coverage cookie for up to 14 days so that the package and booking journey can retain your estimate. Essential Stripe, security or session technology may also be used where needed to complete checkout or keep portal access secure.

If you accept, Google and Microsoft receive technical and usage information from your browser. Their analytics cookies help distinguish visits and returning browsers. We keep information only for as long as needed for the project, support, security, insurance, accounting or legal obligations. Working media is normally retained for 90 days after final delivery. Essential invoice and transaction records may be kept for the period required by UK law. Other records are reviewed and deleted or anonymised when no longer needed.

AIRB uses access controls, signed payment webhooks, restricted portal links and hosted security controls to protect information. No online system can promise absolute security, so please contact us promptly if you believe your account or project link has been misused.

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or an objection to certain uses of your personal information. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. Some records cannot be deleted immediately where they are needed for an active contract or legal obligation.

We aim to respond without undue delay and may need to verify your identity. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, although we would appreciate the opportunity to resolve your concern first.

Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where this happens, AIRB relies on the provider's applicable UK transfer safeguards. We may update this notice when the service or providers change; the effective date on this page will show the current version.
